Scott Bradford: Off on a Tangent

The End of the Beginning

Posted August 22, 2003 2:43pm ET

It’s not an issue of who’s right anymore
We’ve done what we did and it’s over now
Right or wrong, the world has changed again
Redrawing what lines must be redrawn
And history will judge what’s been good and bad
And history will decide if we were justified
And history might not agree with what any of us say
From the cold comfort of this song today

But if I have to believe in anything
I might as well believe that I
Am a good person
And if I have to believe in anything
I might as well think I was right
And so what if I’m wrong
It’s for history to judge

And I think I know
I think I know it all meant something
You’ve proved to me
That everything was real
I never asked for anything but
Honesty from you

It’s a matter of faith
You’ve got to have faith
Never lose faith

That everything works out

In the end…

Scott Bradford has been building web sites and using them to say what he thinks since 1995, which tended to get him in trouble with power-tripping assistant principals at the time. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from George Mason University, but has spent most of his career (so far) working on public- and private-sector web sites. He is not a member of any political party, and brands himself an ‘independent constitutional conservative.’ In addition to holding down a day job and blogging about challenging subjects like politics, religion, and technology, Scott is also a devout Catholic, gun-owner, bike rider, and music lover with a wife and two cats.
