Phones & Handhelds

It’s a phone, it’s a PDA, it’s a camera, it’s a…mobile email checker and web surfer. This little device is a whole bunch of things, and it really helps keep me in-touch and well organized. Includes a usable front-facing slide-out keyboard, 3G wireless access (in areas where it’s available), GPS navigation, and more. It runs the excellent WebOS operating system, which is as cool as the iPhone without all the idiotic limitations.

ScottPod 2

This iPod Classic (a.k.a. 6th-generation iPod) stores my entire music collection in my pocket and still has room left over for my monthly system backup, occasional movies, and more. It replaced my venerable 3rd-generation 20gb iPod from 2004 that served me well, but wasn’t fully compatible with my newer car kit and was finally overrun by my growing music collection.
