Trump Pushes Own Ground Zero Plan

You all know what I think about the World Trade Center plan (see Group proposes rebuilding Twin Towers and How about making it look good?). Turns out that Donald Trump agrees with me! He has proposed rebuilding the twin towers in New York mostly as they were before—only more than 100 feet taller. This is what the real-estate mogul has to say about the Libeskind plan:

“In a nutshell, Freedom Tower should not be allowed to be built, it’s not appropriate for downtown Manhattan, it’s not appropriate for Manhattan, it’s not appropriate for the United States and it’s not appropriate for freedom. . . . The only thing good about the building, from an architectural standpoint, is the name Freedom Tower.”

AMEN!
