Pray for the Troops, etc.

As Jessi mentioned in her comment here [no longer available], Zach is stationed at the prison where the riots occurred the other day. In those riots, four inmates were killed and six injured (no coalition troops were injured).

Zach came out just fine—in fact, he wasn’t involved in the violence at all—but this is a good opportunity to remind ourselves of the sacrifice that our soldiers are making in the name of freedom. Please say a prayer for all our troops that are in harm’s way and thank them for the wonderful work they are doing for us and the world at large.

And if you still doubt that good things are happening, take a look at the jubilant faces of people experiencing free elections for the first time.
