Radio, Scientific, Etc.

One of my hobbies is radio, including the Amateur Radio Service (“Ham”), the General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS), and scanning. I also have an interest in other nerdy topic areas including calculation, detection, electronics, and more. The equipment I use for these and other hobbies are listed in this section.

I am a licensed to operate on the Amateur Radio Service (“Ham”) with call sign KM4DMF and on the General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) with call sign WQSJ974, and I also enjoy scanning and receiving on other services. I mainly use the transceivers, scanners, and other receivers listed below.

Scientific and Other Devices

This section is, admittedly, sort-of a “catch-all” of interesting gizmos and tools I have to support all kinds of other hobbies and interests.
