FBI: Bride ‘Just Wanted to Disappear’

A somewhat disturbing look into the mind of crazy-eyed runaway-bride Jennifer Wilbanks, who had to use money from a cell phone rebate and closing out an old account to go on her selfish, escapist journey across the United States. She didn’t she use her regular checking account because her mom handled that account!

Four Days o’ Regular Posting ;-)

As you can see, my ‘regular posting’ got off to an excellent start ;-). I’m not ignoring you (or anyone else, for that matter), I’ve just been quite busy this week. I’ve been working a bit late (to make up for a handful of honeymoon hours that I didn’t have the vacation time to cover) and doing all the post-wedding changes to insurance accounts and so on and etc., forever.

We’re Home; Regular Posting to Resume

Melissa and I made it safely home very early this morning after spending about 10 hours in stuffy airplanes. The honeymoon was wonderful; details are in the wedding blog (though Melissa is going to write about our time in Anchorage and hasn’t gotten to it yet ;-)).

Leaving the Left

I saw this on Sunday, and haven’t gotten around to mentioning it until today. I thought I’d let a [former?] liberal explain my feelings about the so-called ‘progressives’ that seem to have completely lost their bearings in this country. Give it a read; Keith Thompson says it better than I can (although I’m about to say it anyway).
