Parting Shot—A Farewell to George Mason University

George Mason University has a problem with my address. You see, on WebGMU—Mason’s online student information system—we have the ability to enter both our permanent and our local addresses. In theory, things meant for our parents or sent over the summer should probably go to the permanent address. Things sent during the school year should be sent to the local address.

Introduction

Israel and Syria are two neighbors with very different governments, very different histories, and very different peoples. Likewise, these two countries’ people tend to have very different perceptions of the United States and its involvement in the region.

Lunchtime Robber Foiled by Bankers’ Hours

Lynchburg and Bedford both made the news!

A robber in Lynchburg, Va., had his luck run out when he tried to stick up a closed bank.

Tellers at a Central National Bank called police last Monday with the news that a masked man was trying to get inside the building, reports the News & Advance of Lynchburg.
