Irenaeus of Lyons

Saint Irenaeus of Lyons (ca. A.D. 130-ca. 202) was a Greek-born Catholic bishop, theologian, and early church father who evangelized southern France. He was declared Doctor of the Church by Pope Francis in 2022.
