Ray Bradbury

I believe in Darwin and God together. It's all one. It's all mysterious. Look at the universe. It's been here forever. It's totally impossible.

Science fiction pretends to look into the future but it’s really looking at a reflection of what is already in front of us.

The function of science fiction is not only to predict the future, but to prevent it.

The universe has shouted itself alive. We are one of the shouts.

The way to teach in this world is to pretend you're not teaching.

There is more than one way to burn a book, and the world is full of people running about with lit matches.

We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.
