You know what? We live in Virginia. Not just in Virginia, but in the mountains. Snow is a reality; it is a 100 percent normal part of our environment. Yet, for some odd reason, we still remain totally unprepared for it.
For Mrs. Waldron’s psychology class at Liberty High School in 1999, this site goes along with our “create a product and marketing campaign” assignment. Four holed paper, punches, and binders :-).
Based on a 1999 English project for Mrs. Wingfield at Liberty High School, this concept comes from the story of pilgrims escaping religious persecution in Tampa, Florida. There is no logic, but this is the island they founded in the story.
Let us pray . . . Dear Lord, You have spoken to us through the Bible, and you have spoken to us through your works, and Lord you have spoken to us through people around us. Lord, today we ask you to speak in this place through me. I pray that the words I say and the words that all of us hear might be pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. AMEN.
